This set of The Ranch Family paper dolls was published by the Merrill company in 1957.  Merrill was founded by Marion Merrill in 1934 and published over 160 paper doll books from the 1930’s to the 1960’s!  The company published a number of Western-inspired paper doll books in the 1950’s and this is just one example.

It looks like the family in the previous post took inspiration for their costumes directly from this book!  The brightly-colored Western clothes are so fun and I love that the set contains horses to play with!

I have included a picture of myself in a thrift store in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where I bought my first pair of cowboy boots!  Yippee Ki Yay!
